If I had to make a teaching aid, I would do the following:

1.  Define "teaching aid" - what is it?
2.  Then I would want to know how people learn because I would want my teaching aid to be effective.  I would do a keyword search on Google "how do people learn?"
This is what I came up with:
a.  learning styles explained -  http://www.ldpride.net/learningstyles.MI.htm#Learning%20Styles%20Explained
b.  how do we learn? - http://www.graphisoft.com/company/ontheroad/itg.html
c.  learning styles - http://www.google.com/search?q=how+do+people+learn&hl=en&rls=com.microsoft:en-gb:IE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7FTSB&prmd=imvnsb&ei=tY-BTu_dLoOZOqD4rDo&start=10&sa=N&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.&biw=1366&bih=595&emsg=NCSR&noj=1&ei=tY-BTu_dLoOZOqD4rDo
